2007 Press Release: Water Restrictions Begin
For immediate release

The City of Des Plaines water restrictions begin May 15 and will
continue until September 15. The restriction of water usage is to
ensure adequate water pressure during certain months of the year.
Hand held hoses and sprinkling cans are exempt from the water
restrictions.
Water usage will be permitted between 5:00 am to 8:00 am and 7:00
pm to 10:00 pm. Residents with even numbered addresses are permitted
to use water for lawn watering on even numbered days of the month.
Odd numbered addresses are permitted to use water for lawn watering
on odd numbered days of the month. All industrial, commercial and
institutional properties follow the same restrictions as residential
property owners.
